Bow and arrow is considered to be one of the oldest weapons of hunting and war as well as sports equipment of man. In the thousands of years in which these instruments have been used, the materials used, the design and the practical method of making them have evolved. Bows and arrows are interdependent, but nowadays many people devote their attention exclusively to bows. This often concerns the circle of people who have dealt with traditional bows used throughout the history of mankind. The corresponding arrows are often only a minor matter. Pheilsniczer (Late Middle High German / Early New High German for "fletcher") is a craftmanship project that wants to put the secondary matter into the spotlight. The focus is on reconstructions of historical arrows, which should be as close as possible to the originals. Apart from this project, however, arrows are also produced that have only a historical or traditional "touch" or even a modern design.
